Rage on Purpose

Learn how to use anger to take clear, satisfying action in your life.

To use your rage on purpose, towards your purpose.

Because you’ve got one life in this meatsuit and you wanna f*cking live it.

Which is why…

You’ve done the therapy.
You understand your patterns.
You’re deep in the work.

And yet…

You still avoid difficult conversations.
You spend hours (days? weeks?) overthinking what you should have said.
You feel that ick in your body—when your boss talks over you, when your partner doesn’t do the dishes, when you’re at a conference staring at a panel of five cis-het white dudes.

But you still shut the feeling down.

Later. It’s not the right time. When they’re in a better mood.

Or maybe the thought of actually saying something creates a whole other full-body sensation: fear, wanting to throw up, eject eject eject. Freeze. Oh f*ck no.

Of course that's your reaction.

It's what we, as women, have been very well-trained to do.

Not to be angry.

Because anger is not for us.

It's unladylike.

It makes us a bitch.

Oh, and the research shows that women who are angry… it impacts them negatively. (More on that later.)

It's time to change that.

It’s time for us to feel, express, integrate, and harness our anger to get more satisfied in our lives, deepen our relationships, create change in our communities, and impact this world for the better.

The world needs our anger.

Rage on Purpose exists to help women remember that.

I will be a walking billboard for you because Rage on Purpose has transformed a part of me that I didn't even know existed or needed to be transformed.

I've been showing up with a lot less panic, a lot less anxiety, physically. I've been bringing parts of the program into therapy sessions I lead. I'm showing up professionally and personally with so much more confidence and intention.

It's not that fuck you rage I used to have; it's the 'I'm feeling the rage, how can I be intentional with it?' anger. Anger as intention changed my life.

Caroline Golko, LCSW

This program is for women who are done being so damn nice and are ready to try something different.

You might recognize yourself here:

You identify as a people-pleaser and feel exhausted by it

You avoid conflict even when something feels unfair

You've done therapy or personal development, but still feel stuck in the same reactions

You know anger is there, but you either suppress it or it comes out in ways that don't feel aligned.

You've got body stuff---a dull ache in your left shoulder blade, IBS, migraines, your shoulders are earrings and your hips as tight as a baby's grip

You've got so much awareness...

But you need practice.

Practice saying what you want.

Stating your needs.

Saying no.

Listening to the signals your body gives you when a boundary has been crossed.

Saying something when that happens.

Standing up for yourself.

Soothing yourself.

Validating yourself.

This program is designed to give you that practice.

So that you speak honestly, handle conflict in the moment, and take action aligned with what you actually want.

Imagine...

Standing up in a room full of 100 people to disagree with the man who just spoke—because you felt the rage rise from your toes and instead of stopping it, you listened to it—and your words flowed out, imperfect but grounded. And then dozens of people stopped you to thank you afterwards because they were all thinking what you had the courage to say.

Being in a deeper relationship with your partner because your anger no longer explodes all over them—instead, you use it to tell them what you want and don’t want and share your inner world as it’s happening, so they know and see you more accurately.

Telling your gaslighting mom that you will not let her talk to you that way. And mean it. Because you’re so grounded in yourself, so steadfast in who you are, you are ungaslightable.

It's all possible.

I know because I've experienced it.

And oh, by the way, you’re not going to get this all perfected in a few months.
(Perfect is boring anyway.)

What you’ll get is the playbook.

Your own individualized ‘Get me F*cking Satisfied’ Playbook— a system for recognizing your anger, understanding what it’s signaling, and using it to take clear, satisfying action in daily life.

A playbook that you can turn to over and over again to keep reminding yourself to get in there, get messy, be imperfect, do something differently, play, engage, follow what your anger is telling you.

And maybe, MAYBE one day, you’ll actually even find joy and satisfaction in the anger itself.

I solved a years long issue with my bank, got my business line of credit extended by 25K and did it without saying “I’m sorry” or caring whether they like me.

I was such a badass and it's because I was in such incredible company of other women pushing themselves to do the uncomfortable.

Rebecca Considine, Partner and VP of SpeedPro Chicago Loop

Why anger matters more than you’ve been told

Most women are taught to suppress anger.

Research shows that suppression comes with real physiological costs.

Studies from Yale, Duke, and Harvard researchers have linked chronic anger suppression to:

• increased risk of depression and anxiety
• higher blood pressure and cardiovascular risk
• dysregulated stress hormones
• menstrual and reproductive health disruptions
• chronic fatigue and autoimmune conditions

Women experience autoimmune disease three times more often than men.

And chronic fatigue four times more often.

Yet, constructively expressed anger is one of the clearest signals the body has for:

• boundaries
• agency
• values
• desire
• action

When anger has a place to go, it becomes direction.

Anger itself isn't the problem.
Suppressing it is.

Rage on Purpose is not a lecture series.

It is a lab.

A place where you practice using anger differently, while real life is happening.

Over 12 lessons and group coaching sessions, you’ll experiment with new ways of responding to situations that normally trigger old reactions.

You’ll get into your body to start the rewiring process from there.

You will bring real scenarios from your life.

You’ll try things.

You’ll get feedback.

You’ll role-play difficult conversations.

You’ll test new responses.

You’ll take risks in your life and celebrate them with others taking big risks too.

You’ll see what actually changes.

What you will learn to do

By the end of the program, you’ll:

notice anger in the body sooner instead of after the fact

interrupt people-pleasing in real time

express needs without over-explaining or apologizing

recover faster after conflict

take action on things previously procrastinated or avoided

handle difficult conversations with more clarity and less dread

More specifically, you might:

share with your boss how you prefer to work, instead of staying quiet and resenting his feedback

tell your co-worker you don't like the way she's talking to you in the moment and then advocate for yourself with your manager to get the shift she tried to take from you

set a hard boundary with your ex that you will no longer respond to his texts, and hold that boundary when he reaches out

tell your new sex partners exactly what you want... and get it

(PS. these are all actual examples from the last cohort)

Who is this for?

Having worked with hundreds of women and femmes, we've noticed many of our experiences with anger are similar. So, we mapped these into 10 stages, starting with Stage 0Unaware and moving to stage 10Fully Alive.

This program is designed to support women to move from Stage 3Insightful-but-Stuck stage towards Stage 7Steadfast Self, and there are two sessions + adventures on each stage in between.

Our vision? For us all to feel fully alive. To connect to our full humanity. To be fully satisfied. And to make the world a better place in the process.

What are the 12 sessions?

These labs combine somatic practices with experiential exercises, role play, and practical frameworks to take this work into your life. We start with celebrations and end with time to plan how you will apply what you've learned in the coming week.

We start on Saturday, September 12 and then meet weekly on Wednesdays, culminating with our finale celebration on Sunday, December 20.

Meet Your Anger + Your Community

Take your first step toward the life you've been craving. Build trust with your rageling community, get radically honest about where you are today, and take your first steps toward living from what you actually want.

Get Intimate with Anger + Yearnings

Decode what your anger has been trying to tell you all along. Discover your unique anger patterns, uncover the yearnings beneath every trigger, and begin seeing your anger as a guide instead of something to fear.

Defining Anger + Its Purpose

Stop letting your past masquerade as your anger. This session cracks open the difference between reactive anger (your past living in your present) and assertive anger (your lifeforce, pointed toward what you want). You'll see how self-fulfilling prophecies keep you cycling through the same patterns — and how fear is the bridge between reactivity and real change.

Seeing Our Patterns

See the invisible patterns that have been running your life. You'll track the full chain—from the feeling, to the triggered belief, to the yearning underneath, to what you actually want but haven't said. This is where awareness starts to become agency.

Blocks + Unblocking

Close the gap between insight and action. You're starting to spot your patterns — now let's look at what's actually blocking you from doing something different. Through the Personal Emergence Process (PEP), you'll practice uncensored, moment-by-moment expression of what you think, feel, yearn, want, and sense in your body.

Self-validation + The Art of Self-Soothing

Stop waiting for permission to be yourself. One of the biggest blocks to using anger well is needing others to validate us before we can move. You’ll practice self-validated intimacy, self-compassion, and asking for what you want—even when the answer isn't guaranteed.

Boundaries + Creating Your Space

Take up space without apology. Learn what real boundaries actually are, why we struggle to hold them, and how to use your anger as fuel to create more space for yourself. You'll practice setting boundaries out loud—and mean them.

Integration + Intention

Turn awareness into a new way of living. You'll revisit the arc of the program, identify where you've genuinely shifted—and where you're still stuck—then use implementation intentions to close the gap between wanting to change and actually doing it.

Vision + Purpose

Build a life that finally feels like yours. You've been learning to use your anger—now point it at something. Through somatic practice and the One Decision framework, you'll orient toward a sense of purpose that doesn't have to be world-changing—just deeply, unapologetically yours.

Engaging + Taking Interpersonal Risk

Say the things you've never been brave enough to say. This session introduces the Engagement Continuum and the practice of interpersonal risk—asking for what you need, telling the truth, and initiating the conversations you've been avoiding.

Clear and Current + The Art of Conflict

Stop carrying resentment into the relationships you care about most. Learn the Cha-Cha check-in: a five-step framework for navigating conflict with honesty, shared responsibility, and a focus on what you're fighting for—not against. Being clear and current isn't just a relationship skill — it's what frees up your energy for the life you actually want.

Celebrations, Learnings, Way Forward

Walk away trusting yourself in a way you never have before. Celebrate how far you've come through reflection, story, and community. You'll leave not just with tools, but with a felt sense of your anger as steadfastness, intention, and lifeforce—and a commitment to your own satisfaction going forward.

Who leads the program?

Me! Hi, I’m Krissie (she/they), RAGEher founder, Rage Doula, experience-creator, dog mom to quirky greyhound Sherman, lover of dance, woman on a decade-long journey of turning myself completely inside out and upside down.

My anger journey started in grad school (the Master’s in Transformational Leadership one; not the MBA from Northwestern one), when my professor told me I hadn’t integrated my anger.

Integrated whaaaa?

I had no idea what that meant at the time. Now, five years, a Master’s and four additional years of weekly group training later, I do. And I realized how many women have no idea how anger affects their lives.

Despite dressing like a walking rainbow and being a joyful person, reactive anger was pulling the strings behind the scenes.

This training is built on what I’ve learned over 20,000 hours of practice, 1,000 pages of papers, and dozens of trainings.

It integrates developmental psychology, humanistic and Adlerian psychology, existential philosophy, neuroscience and emotional intelligence research, somatic and body-based practices, educational design and experiential learning, all topped with a sprinkle of Krissie flare.

Can’t wait to be with and learn with you

and me!

I'm Gabriela Starr (she/they), but most folks on the RAGEher team call me Gabi or by my Rageling name, Raven.

I'm RAGEher's Director of Embodied Practices and I help steward our growing ecosystem of Rage Doulas and shape how RAGEher trains, supports, and develops our community of space holders. I've also facilitated many RAGEhers!

With more than 15+ years of experience supporting and facilitating space for youth, adults, and communities with complex trauma, my work is rooted in a deep commitment to disrupting generational and societal cycles of harm and advancing meaningful cultural change.

I'm a fierce advocate for the messy middle—where grief, humor, rage, uncertainty, and hope coexist. And I believe the most profound transformation happens when people feel seen, challenged, and invited into deeper relationship with themselves, one another, and the world around them. And that's exactly what we do here at RAGEher.

I'm so excited to be co-facilitating parts of this program, alongside Krissie.

and us!

We're the Rage Doula team. You'll probably recognize us from our white lights and tender hugs on the Fury Floor.

We are trained in somatic practices and trauma-informed care, with collective expertise spanning coaching, therapy, neuroscience, nervous system regulation, emotional expression, rupture and repair, intimacy, pleasure, and embodied healing.

We'll be popping in as guest facilitators, offering bonus sessions, or as coaches for the group coaching sessions.

Don't worry; you'll hear way more about us later!

Here's what I'm not going to do.

Bullsh*t you.

And tell you this program actually costs $20,500 and then cross out a bunch of numbers and mindf*ck you into believing you got a deal.

Because Rage on Purpose is about being direct. So here's direct:

We are delivering this program at the most reasonable cost we can to pay ourselves and our Rage Doula team.

We POUR our love and gifts and energy into this program.

We care about this work so much.

You already saw everything that's included.

And we really believe that collectively, we will change our families, our work, and the world when we show up for ourselves.

The folks who have done the program are showing up differently in their lives.

If you want some of that, we got you.

Are you ready to get f*cking satisfied?

Join us on September 12. Commit to yourself.
To this one life in this meatsuit.
We offer two payment options:

We believe this work should be accessible.

Rage on Purpose scholarships

We believe financial access shouldn't be the thing that stands between someone and this work.

That's why 10% of every full-price Rage on Purpose registration goes directly into our scholarship fund. We begin each cohort with two full scholarships, and as more people enroll, our scholarship fund grows—creating opportunities for even more people to join this work.

If cost is the only thing standing between you and Rage on Purpose, submit our scholarship application by Friday, August 21 at 11:59 PM CT.

In Rage on Purpose, I learned to honor that little voice inside my head—the one that I've been shutting downand that voice is getting louder! And, I'm starting to close the gap between when I feel something and say it (instead of simmering).

I'm speaking up more in the momentwith my colleague, my manager, my roommates. And that feels so good because it creates space for what I really want. And, I'm using my anger towards getting out of a challenging roommate situation, instead of thinking I don't have options.

If you’re considering this program…

You’re a badass boss who wants to make a difference in the world. You KNOW you have gifts to share, but there’s something stopping you from being your full-out whackadoodle, beautiful, bold, bitchy self. There’s gunk, stuckness, beliefs blocking you from your purpose. And… you’re starting to get that anger has a role to play in all of this.

You want to stop:

• swallowing things that matter
• overthinking what you should say
• avoiding conflict
• staying stuck in the same relational dynamics

And start living with more clarity and satisfaction.

That’s the work we’ll do here.

We hope you'll join us.

Can't make the September start date but pumped AF to join us next time? Give us your deets and you'll be first to know.
